The Ordinance gives us a high density to the plot (2.7 m2 every sqm), the topography and the obligation to leave 10 meters from the perimeter of the streets, forces us to situate the new buildings in the very centre of a triangular lot on which the better views do not coincide with the best sun orientation. From the fourth floor the apartments have splendid view over the sea, so towers typology is suggested. The first image was a set of three towers like sails in the wind, sailing over the roofs of Istanbul, as if it was a three-masted ship. But the narrow space among the towers forced us to focuses the project on two tallest towers (there is no height regulations) to provide free space for public areas oriented to the south. In front of them, on the bottom part of the plot, a third tower will house the Developer offices, in what must be its flagship. The project was made with M1441 and our office, both part of the GAB (Group of Architects of Barcelona).
