The project raises the construction of 47 houses in Martorell, ground floor and two floors of commercial parking in front of a plot lengthened towards the old road of Piera. The draft bets the creation of small apartments, around 45-50 m2 as a proposal to alleviate the shortage of housing in urban centres. Thus, raises two staircases, one on each side of the plot, giving access to a number of gateways tile engraved (on giving to the courtyard that provides the block) which, in turn, will give access to all apartments, arranged in battery, but the last apartment at the header of which must resolve the rotation. The modern design elements and use of new materials aim to “compensate” the principal defect of any modern city: the lack of space. After a well extended processing (proof that the confusing and the vagueness of many overlapping regulations) and, once obtained the licence, the builder already chosen and almost starting the construction, a lack of financing prompted the promoter for the moment to not initiate the works.
