The project aims to transform some old houses in malls, now in disuse, in the most luxurious area of Barcelona. The apartments are raised in duplex, with an ingenious system of cross stairs, so few have access to ground floor, through the living room, and climb up to the bedrooms and the others access from an outside staircase on the first floor and drops to the bedrooms (located behind and always ventilated across courtyards created on purpose). Obtaining then, that all the apartments has it direct access to the rooftop-deck, which provides a community swimming pool for everyone, not to favouring some over others. The apartments will have the technology that they cannot be given in m2. On the original structure it appeases a large metal façade prefabricated that, in its variety of solutions, masks the repeating modules apartments. The Obstinacy of some municipal technicians to considerate a basement as a floor plant opened thru the square block, to implement the regulatory height in the facade behind the plot (if we get this kind of application rule on the road “de las aguas” throughout Barcelona, then we would get a magnificent basement-city with a view), and, not less important, the peculiar trajectory of the promoter, threw away the project.
