I met Sergio Danisowski at a World Festival in Barcelona. My house in Tamariu had already been published in more than a dozen magazines, they had made television programs, we included it in our book “Las villas blancas / Sunlight houses”, but even so, I had written a very personal book, on the appropriation of the place and how to understand it, about the construction techniques, a diary of the works, individual articles that the house inspired me, an extensive relationship about the life of the objects that are in it, bought in so many places in the world… When I saw the magnificent 1in100 magazine (I didn’t know it) on the stand, I asked for one, not one, an issue of each. Then I invited him to lunch and told him I had an issue for his magazine. Sergio told me that they only published Latin American architecture (at that time, they had only published one issue about the Campo Baeza´s houses) and the second was our monograph issue. Then they did one on the Villa Savoie and the Curutchet and, another, on the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion (in which he participated, writing an article). Then, through him, they invited me as a speaker at the 2019 Buenos Aires Biennale. Long before, we already were good friends.
