Common Areas of Tower B3 (Forum)

A celebration of the most modern technology but, at the same time, without renouncing the world of the senses.

Competition we have won to define the common space of a 14-storey building, the B3 Tower, located in the Barcelona Forum Area. The project presented under the theme “Emotional seasons Building” intended as a celebration of the most modern technology but, at the same time, without renouncing the world of the senses. Thus, the project proposes a new image of the public bathrooms, floor lobbies and, above all, the main access in the Ground floor (including the amendment on the facade, with a double door, for LEED certification reasons), we work the sounds and smells, to suggest the passage of the seasons. The project defines the new pavements (on the logic that everything can be resolved with a single material is much better than not in two), the walls are lined with sheet metal or glass lacobel (tenants are especially entrepreneurial companies and we want to reinforce that image), making the reception on the ground floor a retro illuminated light box that will include the security porter service, mail and parcel scanner. New signage and lighting design. Project designed with Coblonal Arquitectura.
