Dwelling at Mª Llimona Blvd.

An intervention that started with a change of kitchen furniture.

The house (a magnificent Alonso & Balaguer project, in collaboration with Carlos Ferrater) takes place in several mezzanines around an inner courtyard and has its access from the street, from which you access the garage, and from a passage, which pedestrian access is made. The project, which began with a change of kitchen furniture finished, as often happens in such cases, in a comprehensive intervention of the entire house. Kitchen, dining and living are together in a unique atmosphere space, from the street to the courtyard, receiving natural light from both sides. The traces left on the ground from the ancient walls that are removed are replaced by wooden slats, in memory of the past (on our reforms we always spare doors). Also we remade bathrooms, integrating the one of the suite to the master bedroom by a sliding door that hides a pavement fades, intertwining with the wood of the master bedroom to dissolve the boundaries of the two units. An exempt bathtub, with clearly playful vocation, is put on.
