Renovation of an apartment in the upper area of Barcelona. From the lobby you can access either the living room (through the library) or to the kitchen -which also communicates with the dining-room-, well to the bedrooms (the last of which, the master bedroom has its own dressing and private bathroom and goes from the facade to the interior courtyard of the block). The circulation scheme is the result of what we learned working with Coderch. The corridors are not only corridors but places where things happen. The inner part of the house acts as diaphragms of the rest of the rooms. The reform maintains the character of the floor, although entirely remade with wooden oak parquet floor, varnished water, giving a new lifestyle we call Modern Classic. It’s important how to integrate the different facilities.
