A traditional apartment in Eixample, Barcelona.

Refurbishment of a traditional apartment in the Eixample, the XIX extension of Barcelona, in which all the internal divisions have been demolished to create a loft space, including kitchen, dining and living room, which goes to the front entrance to the central courtyard of the block.

With the same wood of the kitchen’s furniture, a sidewall it’s covered. The wall masks the doors to the bedrooms (which share a bathroom, located between them) in a single set. While in the bedrooms roof mouldings are conserved, in the Loft living area he left apparent the bricks of the walls and the wooden structure seeking a deliberate contrast between the two solutions.
