House in Ibiza

A refuge that faces the sea.

These are two semi-detached houses of 70 m², the last of a row of houses, facing the sea, in a privileged situation, whose owners invite us to join them on the inside, to double their surface and thus to welcome the family, with a More privacy, summer months … The house raised as a refuge and future retirement of the couple, due to regulations of the urbanization in which it is located, does not allow changes in its exterior (not even open skylights on the flat roof). The project proposes the new living / dining-kitchen occupying the entire front, overlooking the front porch and passing the master bedroom to one side to enjoy the side patio. The continuity between the interior and exterior pavements in a house that most of the time will be lived barefoot is vital to ensure the fusion of interior and exterior and recover the idea as a prime cottage by the sea.
