Penthouse in Travessera de Gràcia

The true luxury is always space.

Old penthouse (here we call it “attics”) that was demolished completely to rethink a new home, in which we highlighted the large piece of living room and kitchen, which is preceded by a body like a glass-wall that will serve the dining room, to replace the existent. The bedrooms are on the other side, the future children will share the bathroom, in the background, and the master bedroom with its private bathroom and dressing room, creating a complex system of slides and visual connections. While the wall separating the shower is a piece of glass stacked, reminiscent of a version of another project that that has not made (sometimes ideas jump from one to another), the lining of the master bathroom is made up of slabs of slate in memory of the ancient baths in the Mexican “cenotes”. It is an increasing view diagonally across the entire house and the relationship with the outside world.
