Virgin Megastore

The first Megastore of the English company in Spain.

The more than 3000 m² in the locale is divided into sections. A new staircase had to be understood as the existence of the basement, while a suspended bridge, formed by an engraved glass walkway, had to close the circulation on the first floor. The Virgin store was the most complicated management project that we had ever done. The “Quantity Surveyors”, the “Project Management”, the “Retail Area Advisors”, the English engineers who had their Spanish counterparts, the concept architects (on staff) and those for developing the project (ourselves, in a role which we always exceeded ourselves in terms of work and dedication). This was our first experience of this type of arrangement, which afterwards would end up overwhelming us (there are ever more of those who make comments on the work of just a few), especially when it always ends up being you who has to decide how to do things, how you ought to play it and who shoots the penalty.
