Barcelona, like Venice and so many other fashionable destinations, suffers from the continuous invasion of hordes of tourists with (or against) whom the city must deal with. The monograph of the prestigious Italian magazine delves into attitudes, solutions to avoid gentrification that expels its natural inhabitants from the center of the city and turns our historic centers into museums of frozen life. Among a host of Italian intellectuals, it was my turn to explain the Barcelona case.
