Octavio Mestre is an architect by the Higher Technical School of Architecture in Barcelona with the outstanding rating. After numerous scholarships in various European countries, was professor of the Department of Theory and Composition of the same (1983–1988) and municipal architect of Barcelona in the Planning Services between 1987 and 1990, when he decided to devote himself fully to professional practice.
Invited by the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) during the “Spring Semester” 1994, and a founding member of the Escola d’Architecture at UIC, where he taught Project (1996-2001), is also since 1997, professor of the School ELISAVA.
Born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1993. She finished her architecture degree at the University of Buenos Aires, publishing her thesis in the Clarín newspaper. He previously worked in real estate developments, designing together with important studios in Argentina, including the modernization of the Racing Club stadium.
She comes to Barcelona in February 2020 to take the Master in Interior Space Design at Elisava, the same year that she joined the studio.
Born in Rosario, Argentina. In 2017 I moved to Barcelona seaking for new experiences and professional challenges. Since 2016 I am an Architect. I began my professional career in Rosario, at the end of my studies, at the Abarqs Architecture Office, obtaining 2nd place in a National Competition for the reform of a Museum of Fine Arts. I continued my professional work in Barcelona working as a collaborating architect in MDBArchitects, I also participated in Urban Planning competitions on waterfronts and city centers in conjunction with the architect Jordi Henrich, and worked as a collaborator for the HT Arkitekter office based in Oslo, Norway.
In October 2021 I joined Octavio Mestre Associate Architects’ team. Regarding my training, i continued my studies in Barcelona developing the postgraduate course “Smart cities, Urbanism, Technology and Sustainability” at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. I recently finished my Master of Interior Space Design at the Elisava Design School in Barcelona, obtaining two nominations for the Professional Edition 8th and 9th edition Awards with two projects carried out with other professionals, one for a dwelling house and another for offices and workspaces in a University Campus.
Born in Madrid in 1995. Obtains his architecture degree in 2020 from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, having also attended Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) as well as Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna.
After a period of time working in Dubai, he started collaborating at Octavio Mestre Associate Architects in Barcelona.
